三・一事件記念の名目で集まった約70名の朝鮮人デモ隊が、大阪市東成区の八坂神社境内に突入しようとしたため、大阪警視庁機動隊と大乱闘となり、朝鮮人側に十数名の負傷者を出して解散した。一時間後、いったん解散させられたデモ隊40名は近くの朝鮮人集落の広場でジグザクデモ行進を始めたので、東成署員約50名が現場に急行、解散させた。この事件で6名が検挙された。
